It was only the 6th game of the year for both teams, but it was Seneca Valley and North Allegheny doing battle at the Baierl Ice Complex. Both the Raiders and the Tigers were tied atop the 3A Standings with (4-0-1) records and 14 points.

After a scoreless first period, Seneca Valley took control with a pair of second-period tallies on its way to an 8-0 win.

Even though they were outshot 10-4 in the opening period, North Allegheny was in the game, creating some chances and forcing a few scrums around the net. With the games tied 0-0, Braden Morin broke the ice just over a minute into the second period with his 2nd goal of the season. Morin and Owen Martin would connect on a perfect 3-on-2 late in the period to set up Cooper
Hoehn for a 2-0 lead.

The Tigers were on the power play to start the third, when Morin scored his 2nd goal of the game on a nifty shorthanded skating effort just 30 seconds in to put the Raiders in front 3-0. That goal
turned out to be the backbreaker. That man advantage was one of five the Tigers had on the night, and the Raiders, who have not allowed a power play goal yet this season, killed all five penalties.

A barrage of Raider goals followed. Martin scored on a wrap-around, then Hoehn added his second. Leyton Moreau and Aiden Garvin found the net before Morin capped off his hat trick
leading Seneca Valley to the 8-0 victory.

Junior forward Anthony Lucas, who generated a few early chances for North Allegheny, was chosen as the Wright Automotive Player of the Game.

North Allegheny is on the road for its next two contests, visiting Mt. Lebanon and Thomas Jefferson on consecutive Thursdays, before closing out November by hosting Upper St. Clair.
