Run Ends For NA Wrestlers At PIAA Tournament
After a successful day one at the PIAA Class AAA Individual Wrestling Tournament in Hershay, day two wasn’t quite as kind to the three North Allegheny grapplers competing for state gold. Luke Landefeld (113) and Clay Byerly (182) both fell in their quarterfinal bouts and were ousted in the second round consolations on Friday. Senior Zach Smith was also eliminated from the double-elimination tournament with a second round consolation loss on Friday afternoon bringing to an end the wrestling season for North Allegheny. Congratulations to all of the NA wrestlers and coaches on another exciting season.
