Tigers edged by Butler in Section Clash, 63-60

The North Allegheny boys’ basketball team dropped a 63-60 decision on the road against Butler on Wednesday night in a Section 1-6A matchup at Butler High School.
The Tigers held a 35-33 lead at the half, but Butler was able to make a second half push and prevail. Senior forward Joey Dopirak paced NA with 29 points. Ty Iwanonkiw added 14 points for the Tigers
For Butler, Braylon Littlejohn had a game-high 38 points. Donovan Carney chipped in 11 points
North Allegheny slips to 5-8 overall and 2-1 in the section on the season. Butler improves to 10-1 and 3-0 in section play. North Allegheny will return home on Friday to take on the Seneca Valley Raiders at 7:30 p.m. This game will be broadcasted live on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
