The North Allegheny ice hockey team traveled to the Mt. Lebanon Ice Center for a matchup with South Fayette on Thursday night. Goals were not at a premium, as the Tigers rolled to a 7-1 win.

The Tigers took a 3-0 lead in the second period on a goal from Maier, assisted by Gallagher and freshman Cooper Kevan.
NA blew the game wide open in the final frame, starting with a power-play goal from Gallagher, assisted by seniors Anthony Lucas and Nicholas Pasquale. Gallagher registered his second of the game about five minutes later off an assist from Maier. Just 59 seconds later, senior David Patterson made it 6-0 and just over a minute later, senior Marcus Garcia scored with an assist from Patterson.

Junior Chris Costa stood strong in net, stopping 17 shots.
NA finishes the month with three wins in four contests and is back in action Monday, November 2nd against Central Catholic. Puck drop from the Baierl Ice Complex is slated for 7:00 p.m.
