Tigers Wallop Warriors, 74-44

North Allegheny opened up a 45-12 lead by halftime and punished the Penn-Trafford Warriors on Saturday night, 74-44, in a non-section contest at NASH.  The Tigers shot 52 percent from the field and limited the Warriors to just 14-percent shooting in first half and 33 percent for the game.

Four Tigers touched double digits, including Cole Constantino who scored a game-high 18 points.  Will Sandherr and Jordan Lake scored 13 apiece and freshman Curtis Aiken added 10.  For Penn-Trafford, Timmy Vecchio and Brendan O’Toole each scored 10 points.

Following the blowout victory, North Allegheny improves to 7-0 overall while Penn-Trafford falls to 2-5. The Tigers return to section play on Tuesday when they host the Butler Golden Tornado.  The game will be broadcast live via the internet on the North Allegheny Sports Network.  Tip-off is slated for 7:30 pm.
