MATCH SUMMARIES

LADY TIGERS WIN THREE MORE

The Lady Tigers edged Franklin Regional, 209-213, in a non-section match at Franklin Regional on Thursday afternoon.  The win was the third straight for the streaking Lady Tigers.  NA has won four straight section matches. 

On Monday, NA defeated neighborhood rival Pine-Richland, 202-213, at Highland Country Club.  Senior Jen Snyder shot a 44 to lead NA while senior Katherine Larimer followed with a 48.

Last Friday, the Lady Tigers traveled to Kittanning for a section match and came home with a 204-210 victory over the Wildcats.  Leading the way was senior Katherine Larimer who shot a 48.  Seniors Jen Snyder and Michelle Wetzel followed with 51s.

With all the wins, the NA section record is now 4-1, the overall mark at 5-1.  The Lady Tigers will host Ambridge and Butler this afternoon at Highland CC in non-section action.  Tee off time is scheduled for 3:00 pm.  On Monday, the Lady Tigers will host Kiski Area in a battle for the section lead.  The scheduled starting time at Highland CC is set for 3:30 pm.

LADY TIGERS CRUSH FOX CHAPEL, 187-217

Three NA seniors --- Katherine Larimer, Jen Snyder, and Alexis Weldon --- all shot 46s to lead the Lady Tigers to an easy 187-217 victory over Fox Chapel at Highland CC on Friday afternoon.  The victory was the second straight in section play for the Lady Tigers.

The win improved the NA section record to 2-1 on the season.  The Lady Tigers will be back in action again on Friday afternoon when they travel to Kittanning for a 3:30 pm section match.

OAKLAND CATHOLIC FALLS TO LADY TIGERS,
207-220

Senior Jen Snyder shot a 48 to lead the Lady Tigers to a 207-220 victory at Oakland Catholic on Thursday afternoon.  Senior Katherine Larimer recorded a 50 to help NA to their first victory of the season.

With the win, the Lady Tigers evened their section record at 1-1.  NA will host section rival Fox Chapel this afternoon at Highland Country Club.  Tee off time is scheduled for 3:30 pm.

KISKI AREA EDGES LADY TIGERS, 177-179

Kiski Area edged the Lady Tigers, 177-179, at Vandergrift GC on Friday afternoon in a non-section match.  Senior Michelle Wetzel led NA with a 42 while senior Katherine Larimer posted a 43 and senior Jen Snyder a 44.  Jenna Tallaroni pace Kiski with a 38.

The loss dropped NA to 0-1 in section play.  The Lady Tigers will be back in action again on Thursday afternoon when they travel to Oakland Catholic for a section match.  Tee off time is scheduled for 4:00 pm.

LADY TIGERS TAKE SECOND IN PETERS
TOWNSHIP INVITATIONAL

Coach Joe Bullick's Lady Tigers repeated their second place finish of a year ago in the Peters Township Invitational on Monday morning.  Jen Snyder shot a 99 to pace NA.  Host Peters Township won the title with Mt. Pleasant finishing third.

The Lady Tigers will host Mars on Thursday at the Highland Country Club course.  Match time is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
