Unfortunately for O’Brien, it wasn’t enough to make the cut. Tom Nettles from Peters Township topped the leaderboard with a 72 and was among 22 boys who qualified for the PIAA Championship. For O’Brien and the rest of the NA Golfers, it was a fantastic season that saw them capture another Section Championship. Under head coach Dede Rittman, the future is bright for the North Allegheny Boys Golf Team. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TIGERS SEASON ENDS WITH FIFTH PLACE FINISH AT WPIAL FINALS (10/13/11) The North Allegheny golf season came to an abrupt end on Thursday afternoon, after placing fifth in the WPIAL finals at Cedarbrook.
