Tigers shutout at home against Plum
North Allegheny hosted the Plum Mustangs in a non-section contest at NASH Baseball Field on Monday night. The Tigers couldn’t get the offense going as they only mustered two hits in a 3-0 defeat against Plum.
The Mustangs got a run in the first on a Brennan Ryan RBI single and two more in the fifth inning on a two-run home run from Max Vollmer.
JJ Mancuso and Christian Simons recorded hits for NA.
Liam Cooper took the loss going four and a third innings, allowing three runs on seven hits. He struck out six batters. Jude Swartz went two-thirds of an inning while Mason Dratfinsky got the final six outs, three via the punchout.
North Allegheny falls to 1-2 overall. The Tigers return to action tomorrow when they host Mt. Lebanon at 4 p.m. This game will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network
