The WPIAL Champion North Allegheny Girls’ Volleyball Team has three representatives on the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Team. Garnering First-Team accolades were senior outside hitter Ashley Leto, senior outside hitter Danielle Wall and junior middle hitter Meg Morningstar. All three were major contributors to the Lady Tigers 20-1 record and run to a WPIAL title.
The Lady Tigers rallied from a 10-point fourth quarter deficit to pluck away a win from the Norwin Knights, 58-52, in a non-section contest at NASH on Monday night. Standout receiver and defensive back Elijah Zeise has been named to the Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State Football Team.
