Jake Fritz Commits To Slippery Rock Baseball

North Allegheny baseball standout Jake Fritz has committed to play at the next level.
The senior has decided to play at Slippery Rock University when his time with the Tigers comes to a close.
Fritz batted over .300 last season and accrued more than 20 hits. The senior was also one of the team’s best pitchers. He was named first-team Big 56 All-Conference for his play in the outfield as well.
Slippery Rock baseball plays at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. The team went 30-18 last season, including a 16-12 mark in PSAC play, qualifying for the postseason. Slippery Rock lost to Shepherd University in the opening round of the PSAC tournament to end the season.
