Kevin Schott Inks Letter Of Intent With Gannon University
North Allegheny senior Kevin Schott has signed his letter of intent to play college baseball at Division II Gannon University in Erie, PA.
The crafty left-hander was a reliable arm for a Tigers team that reached the state’s Final Four in Class 6A last season. Schott made 10 appearances with five starts, posting a 1-1 record and a 2.36 ERA. In 29.2 innings pitched, Schott struck out 26 batters and was a Big 56 Conference all-section honorable mention selection.
As a sophomore, Schott made six appearances and two starts, delivering a 2-0 record and a sparkling ERA of 1.62 in 17.1 innings pitched.
At Gannon University, Schott will play for one of the premier programs in the PSAC. In 2019, the Golden Knights went 33-17 and won the program’s first-ever NCAA tournament game with a 6-4 win over West Chester in the Atlantic Regional.
Schott will major in history and secondary education. He is pictured above with his parents Eric and Jeannie Schott and North Allegheny head coach Andrew Heck.
