Lincoln Hoke Named To HSSN Preseason Football All-Star Team

Fresh off his college commitment and another stellar season on the gridiron, rising senior Lincoln Hoke is already earning accolades heading into the 2025 football season.

Hoke was named to the Preseason All-Star Football Team for Trib HSSN earlier this week.

The two-way starter and all-state player recently committed to the Pitt Panthers football program back in June. He joins a plethora of local WPIAL talent in the 2026 Pitt Football recruiting class.

Last season, Hoke accumulated 66 tackles, 37 unassisted, with nine tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two blocked kicks and one interception. He also helped the Tigers rush for 171 yards per game as an offensive lineman. Hoke was named 2nd Team All-State by PennLive and was additionally named to the PA Football Writers All-State Team.

Hoke was named a first-team Big 56 All-Conference defensive lineman, a member of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Fab 22 Team,  a member of the TribLive HSSN Terrific 25 Football All-Star Team and a member of the Pittsburgh Union Progress All-Star Team at the end of his junior campaign. He is a multi-time Big 56 selection, earning first-team offensive line honors in 2023. Hoke is also stellar in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA.

The Tigers kick off the 2025 season on Friday, August 22nd, with a non-conference clash against Woodland Hills at the Wolverina. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. and free audio coverage will be provided by the North Allegheny Sports Network.
