MATCH SUMMARIES LADY TIGERS TAKE TWO WITH WINS OVER BLACKHAWK AND KITTANNING Coach Bernadette Clinton split her squad to take on both Blackhawk and Kittanning at Shannopin CC on Wednesday afternoon. A good effort by both teams provided a pair of victories for NA. The Lady Tigers downed Blackhawk, 209-240, with sophomore Lizzie Hammel leading the way with a 50. Junior Katie Sitterle added a 51 for the winning Lady Tigers. Sophomore Amanda Adams posted a 47 and junior Ryanne Tyler a 48 to lead NA over Kittanning, 199-237. Freshman Carolyn Jack pitched in with a 49 to help the Lady Tigers to their second victory of the day. With the wins, NA improved to a 14-3 overall record on the season. The Lady Tigers will host Pine-Richland this afternoon in a key section match at Shannopin CC. Tee off time is scheduled for 3:30 pm. MATCH SUMMARIES

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * LADY TIGERS BALANCE BEATS SHALER, 183-210 Contributions from the entire squad enabled the Lady Tigers to easily defeat Shaler, 183-210, in a section match at Pittsburgh National GC on Tuesday afternoon. Sophomore Amanda Adams shot a 45 to pace NA with junior Ryanne Tyler, senior Tara Broderick, and freshman Marlee Tyler just a stroke behind at 46. With the win, the NA section record improved to 6-1, the overall mark to 12-3 on the season. The Lady Tigers will host Blackhawk and Kittanning this afternoon at Shannopin CC in a non-section tri-match. Tee off time is set for 3:30 pm. MATCH SUMMARY
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * UPPER ST. CLAIR TOPS LADY TIGERS, 178-189 The Lady Tigers traveled to Upper St. Clair CC on Monday afternoon and were defeated by the Panthers, 178-189. Junior Ryanne Tyler led NA with a 44 with sophomore Amanda Adams posting a 47 and freshman Marlee Tyler a 48 as as the Lady Tigers lost for only the third time this season. With the loss, the overall NA record fell to 12-3 on the year. The Lady Tigers will travel to Pittsburgh National GC this afternoon to meet Shaler in a 2:40 pm section match. MATCH SUMMARY
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * GATEWAY FALLS TO LADY TIGERS, 195-228 The Lady Tigers got back on the winning track on Friday afternoon with a 195-228 non-section victory over Gateway at Shannopin CC. Junior Ryanne Tyler led the way with a 45 while sophomore Amanda Adams added a 49 for the winning Lady Tigers. With the win, NA improved to 11-2 overall on the season. * * * * * * * * * * * * * TWO NA GOLFERS QUALIFY FOR WPIAL FINAL ROUND Junior Ryanne Tyler and sophomore Lizzie Hammel were among five golfers who qualified for the WPIAL Final Round next week. In section action at the Pittsburgh National GC, Tyler shot an 88 to finish third while Hammel posted a 93 to take the fifth spot. The Final Round will be played at the Club at Nevillewood on Tuesday with tee off time set for 9:00 am. The Lady Tiger team will host Gateway tomorrow afternoon in a non-section match at Shannopin CC. The starting time is scheduled for 3:30 pm. MATCH SUMMARY

AT The Butler Golden Tornado edged the Lady Tigers, 205-206, at Shannopin CC on Monday afternoon in a section match to end a nine-match NA winning streak. Junior Ryanne Tyler led NA with a 48 but the Lady Tigers came up just short. Sophomore Amanda Adams added a 51 and sophomore Lizzie Hammel a 52 for NA. The loss was the first in section play dropping the NA section record to 5-1, the overall mark to 10-2 on the season. Next up will be the WPIAL Individual Qualifier at Pittsburgh National GC. STREAK WITH The Lady Tigers went on the road again on Wednesday and defeated the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils, 184-208, for their ninth consecutive victory. Junior Ryanne Tyler again led the way with a 44 at the Mt. Lebanon CC with senior Tara Broderick just a stroke behind. Sophomore Lizzie Hammel recorded a 47 and freshman Marlee Tyler a 48 for the winning Lady Tigers. With the non-section win, NA improved their overall season record to 10-1 on the year. The Lady Tigers won their eighth straight match with an impressive 194-197 victory on Tuesday afternoon over an always tough Peters Township squad. In the match at Rolling Hills CC, junior Ryanne Tyler shot a 46 to pace NA with senior Tara Broderick and sophomore Lizzie Hammel just two strokes behind at 49. Freshman Marlee Tyler added a 50 to close out the NA scoring. With the win, NA improved to 9-1 on the season. The Lady Tigers will continue non-section play with a trip to Mt. WITH A The Lady Tigers continued their winning streak with a 192-206 victory over Pine-Richland at Conley's GC on Monday afternoon. Junior Ryanne Tyler and sophomore Amanda Adams both shot 47s to lead NA to their seventh straight victory. Senior Tara Broderick and sophomore Lizzie Hammel were two strokes back with 49s for the winning Lady Tigers. With the win, NA stayed unbeaten in section play with a 5-0 record while the overall mark improved to 8-1 on the season. The Lady Tigers will travel to Peters Township this afternoon and Mt. KITTANNING, The Lady Tigers had little trouble defeating Kittanning at the Kittanning CC on Friday afternoon with a 196-239 non-section victory. Sophomore Lizzie Hammel posted a 50 as the Lady Tigers won their sixth straight match. With the win, the overall NA record improved to 7-1 on the season. The win was the third straight section victory without a loss, the second against Seneca Valley. With the 185-190 non-section win at Blackhawk on Thursday, the overall record improved to 5-1 on the season. Freshman Marlee Tyler claimed medalist honors for NA with a 40 while junior Ryanne Tyler added a 42 and senior Tara Broderick a 45 for the winning Lady Tigers. Marissa DeCola led all golfers with a 36 to pace the Tornado. The win improved the NA section record to 2-0, the overall mark to 3-1 on the season. Junior Ryanne Tyler shot a 45 to claim medalist honors and lead NA to the win with sophomore Lizzy Hammel adding a 49 for the winning Lady Tigers.. Jenn Suder posted a 49 to pace Seneca Valley. Sophomore Lizzie Hammel paced NA with a 51 with senior Tara Broderick posting a 53. Nadia Luttner shot a 39 to claim medalist honors for the match. The loss dropped the NA overall record to 1-1. TIGERS, The Lady Tigers successfully opened the 2010 season with a 214-223 non-section victory over Franklin Regional at Shannopin Country Club on Monday afternoon. Junior Ryanne Tyler led the way with a 49 followed by sophomore Lizzie Hammel with a 52 and freshman Marlee Tyler with a 53.
