TIGERS CONTINUE TO ROLL WITH 5-0 VICTORY AT FOX CHAPEL

The Tigers defeated Fox Chapel, 5-0, at Fox Chapel on Thursday afternoon to win their 12th consecutive match without a loss this season.  With both teams working on doubles, the NA singles players had little competition led by WPIAL Champion senior Zack Skorupka.  At second and third singles, juniors Shawn Palmeri and Matt Dulac won in straight sets.

In doubles play, it was a lot tougher.  Senior Payom Dousti and freshman Sam Gill had to battle back from a first set loss to win in three sets.  At number two doubles, freshman Matt Smith and Matt Kosevec needed a second set tiebreaker to put their match away.

The Tigers will be back in action again this afternoon when they meet Seneca Valley.  The match has been moved to the Oxford Athletic Club because of the chance of bad weather.

Thanks again to Coach Woffington for the information in this report!
