I.          Welcome & approval of the minutes- Rose Woolley- minutes posted on web site

II.         Updates/new business- Rose Woolley

a.         Tentative competition schedule

November 10- Three Rivers Challenge- Upper St. Clair

November 24-Pennsylvania States @ Johnstown  War Memorial, Johnstown

 - Thanksgiving weekend ** if daughter can’t attend notify Courtenay

December 1- UCA Allegheny Regional- Slippery Rock University

January 13- Key Stone State Games @ Penn State University

February 8-10 UCA High School Nationals- Orlando, Fl

b.         coach bus for the girls to travel to the Erie football game

- boosters are partially funding this expense

c.         Blackout for Friday’s game- freshman parents continue to sell t-shirts at the game

d.         Freshman table- helpers needed for homecoming sales

e.         Varsity Uniform- motion flexors will be purchased for competitions with money raised from t-shirt sales

III.       Community Service- MJ Pelusi

Conveyed plan to partner with NHCO on a coat drive for the residents affected by Millville floods.   Activities include collection of coats at the Fri 10/26 NH game & assisting on 10/27@ coat shop in Millville. Sign- up sheets will be available for the girls to assist with various duties on both dates.

IV.       Homecoming- Mary Collins

Reported that all coaches will be present & are responsible for cheer portion of the march in the parade.  All 6 Squads will be participating. Warm-up will be in the cafeteria. Tiger pride girls-(8girls) will carry signs. Tiger mascot will be utilized. Mary will make new signs out of felt.

V.        Tail gate- Reported by Rose

Jean Brown is coordinating for this Friday 9/28 rain or shine

VI.       UBO- Amy Flannelly

Reported about the scholar athlete program.

Price increase for web site maintained - increased to $550.00 - booster organizations pay to maintain their web sites

VII.      Fundraising

Cookies dough- $ will go into individual girls account- Marilyn Wagner & Andrea Conley will chair

Varsity carwash - Sat  @J Clarks- Jane is coordinating this

Jerry’s Carwash coupons 9.50/coupon- See Jane Marroni for more info

 Sarris/ Betsy Ann- runs 10/1-14 for the girls to sell- 40% profit to girls’ individual account-Danyele Bernick

Cleantown- Kim Hendrickson- awaiting new pricing Oct 1

T- shirts- Patti Amos

Sales have been fantastic- selling shirts at all the schools in addition to the freshman table at the football games.  Patti will be ordering more shirts.  Money from the sale of these shirts will be for the purchase of the motion flexors.  Additional profits will be used for expenses at nationals

VIII.     Treasurers’ Report- Patti Amos

a.         Escrow Accounts-collecting deposits for nationals - varsity has been billed $400.00 thus far.  JV will be billed $300.00 to get them caught up - since they will be going to nationals if they qualify.

Timeline for $$ due for nationals- December 2nd the airfare portion will be due.  The national expenses from last year were 800.00 - this included some meals.  All payments for nationals will be due by the end of December!

Competition fees will be appearing next billing. 

The bus to Penn State may be funded by t-shirt sales

b.         Report-distributed for review.

IX .      Clothing - Cindy Roberts

Final bills for clothing have appeared on monthly statements.  Reps have all the clothing to distribute.  Tie dye shirts are on backorder
